Dr. Austin will review techniques, methods and instrumentation currently available for cryoimmobilization by high pressure freezing. Emphasis will be placed on the breadth of capabilities of this technique for successfully freezing a wide variety of specimen types including plant tissue, single cells, biopsies, muscle, etc
